3MDR Program Manager Celeste is a pianist, composer, writer and advocate in queer and neurodiverse communities and has been a Hills local since 2013 where she has been an active member of the local music and arts scene. Celeste returns to 3MDR in 2025 as a presenter on “The Feast” and resuming duties as Program Manager after several years’ hiatus, having joined 3MDR in 2018 on the Programming Committee. Celeste completed a Bachelor of Music specialising in composition for film and media in 2012 and has presented critically acclaimed scores for several live dance works at Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Fringe and internationally at AvignonOFF in France.

Celeste has presented a score at HillsceneLIVE in 2014 and performed a solo work in 2018 in addition to volunteering on production crew from 2014-2016. She has participated in PAVE in Emerald in 2015, and worked at the Skylark Room at Burrinja from 2017-2018 where she has also performed her piano music, plus shows at Selby Folk Club, MDR live on air for The Dotted Line, and several Sacred Stage charity concerts at Dandenong Ranges Music Council. She did a music residency with Cardinia Shire in 2019 and filmed her first music video at the old bakery in Emerald where she later recorded her debut album Moving Mountains, released in 2022.

She has delivered diverse events and programs at local community venues with Yarra Ranges Council in Warburton, Healesville, Mooroolbark and Montrose and been active with local heritage with Yarra Ranges Regional Museum. She currently works at TarraWarra Museum of Art delivering public programs across art exhibitions, workshops and forums, hosting ensembles for live music and dance, supporting the work of First Nations community and women artists, and facilitating engagement with a nationally significant collection of Contemporary and Modernist artworks.
