3MDR is back on the air! Reverend Stew from 3MDR's Gospel Show took some time out of work to attend to the back up generator at the transmitter site. There's a little more work to do at the transmitter site but we have managed to get the back up power supply restored for the time being.
The latest news is that mains power at 3MDR's transmitter site in Kallista has finally been restored. One of our volunteers is going to check the site tonight (12/10/16) to make sure everything is back to normal.
Ausnet Services' website is back online.....there are still many areas without power but we are confident that the power supply at Kallista has been restored.
We apologise for the extended interruption to our transmission and appreciate your understanding and support for community radio 3MDR 97.1fm.
We hope you can join us for our 2016 Radiothon starting on Monday 17th October. We assure you that your subscription dollars will be put to good use to help us purchase back up power supply equipment so we can stay on the air during future power interruptions. 3MDR has a very small budget and every dollar counts when it comes to paying the bills and upgrading equipment.
