Local muso Ben Mitchell has penned a new tune all about keeping community radio and we are loving it!!!
Here's the blurb Ben wrote about the tune on his Soundcloud page:
"Keep Community Radio is a celebration of the humble radio stations of the suburbs, the far flung outposts up in the mountains, and the non-commercially bound artistic havens of the mean inner city streets. Run almost entirely by volunteers, these radio stations are invariably the birthplace of new music.
Personally, my career has benefited from having the opportunity to share my music with a wider audience through community radio, both from songs on my albums being played on a wide range of genre-specific shows, and from live-to-air appearances. Keep Community Radio is a small way of saying thank you."
