3MDR is pleased to announce a brand new program starting up on Wednesday mornings at 9am. Jane and Megan (pictured above) are starting up The Friendly Femmes and are super excited about trying their hand at community broadcasting. Jane's daughter, Bec, is very proud of her mum, so much so that she got a Larry Lyrebird hair tattoo! Join Jane & Megan every Wednesday from 9 to 10 am for a range of eclectic music. With a different theme each week ranging from totem animals and dream interpretation to discussions on inspirational women and whats happening locally. The Friendly Femmes are two local girls inspired by all things spiritual so if you are interested in these topics and more tune in for something different.
Please welcome Jane & Megan to the program line up and we hope you enjoy the show!
Moving into Saturdays 4-6pm will be Mr Norman Weakly and The Sounds From In Between. Norman will be moving from Fridays 1-3pm into the Saturday slot starting on 29th July.
Bangers N Mash with Paula, currently Fridays 11am, will be moving into the 1pm slot from Friday 28th July.
There will be more changes in the coming weeks with several new program presenters undergoing training and we look forward to introducing new broadcasters in the very near future.
As all of the programs available for your listening pleasure are presented by volunteers, changes to programming is unavoidable when it comes to juggling work, family and schooling commitments around volunteering availability. Programs will come and go and we hope that you can enjoy and appreciate the diversity of programming available at any given time on community radio 3MDR 97.1fm
