Thank you! Over $1000 Raised in 3MDR’s First EOFY Donation Drive

3MDR has proudly wrapped up its first-ever End of Financial Year Donation Drive, raising over $1,000 thanks to the generosity of listeners and supporters across the Dandenong Ranges and beyond.

Held from June 24–30, the campaign carried the theme “40 Reasons to Donate to 3MDR”—a nod to our 40th anniversary year. The week-long drive called on the local community to help keep independent, grassroots media alive by making tax-deductible donations to the station.

As a not-for-profit station, 3MDR relies on community support to keep us on air. We’re thrilled with the response and deeply grateful to everyone who donated. Every dollar raised goes directly into supporting the voices, stories, and music that make our region so unique.

The funds raised through the EOFY campaign will help the station maintain its equipment, train volunteers, and continue to provide a creative platform for the community.

This is just the beginning and we have big plans to build on the success of this first EOFY drive in the years to come!
