hillsceneLIVE is two things in one! A mini-festival of Performance and Live Art and the launch of the hillscene magazine Spring issue.
Capacity is strictly limited, so reserve your ticket now! It is a new event presenting artists from diverse practices performing work that is bold, striking, risky or experimental.
The inaugural event (June 6th) received overwhelming support and attendance. hillsceneLIVE # 2, (September 5th) is set to be bigger and bolder than the first. The mini-festival will take over the Belgrave Township, with performances taking place in a range of re-invigorated and re-imagined spaces: empty shop fronts, kooky corners, underground lairs, public thoroughfares and cafes.
Armed with a map of Belgrave, audiences meet at Belgrave station, and are then asked to seek out, explore and find a number of secret locations in the township. At these locations, audiences are treated to experimental performances from some of Dandenong Ranges’ most exciting artists! hillsceneLIVE supports the ambitious, the bold, the risky and the brave. Come along on a fanciful journey of live art and performance, and experience Belgrave as you never have before.
