On June 27, Sooki Lounge becomes the centre of a beautifully unhinged collision of sound, sweat, and chemical level optimism as Lost Canoe roll into Belgrave with a convoy of mountain-born misfits and musical degenerates.

Lost Canoe arrive armed with a feral cocktail of garage rock, blues hypnosis, and psychedelic country damage. Imagine Neil Young driving a stolen Holden through the desert with Jon Spencer screaming directions from the boot. Beautiful chaos.

Joining them are Freud and the Family Solution, the genre melting collective from the fog soaked Dandenong Ranges whose music somehow feels like a country funeral, a jazz sermon, and a pub brawl happening simultaneously. Your mum will love it. Your dad may need fresh air.

Fallow Fields drift in carrying heartbreak, harmonies, and the ghost of every great Australian hangover. An old fashioned hoe down colliding head first with the next morning’s regret.

Then comes Si Francis and Downtown Ryan Brown, bringing crooked rhythm, dusty strings, and enough local legend to keep the walls sweating until close.
