Exhibition statement:
An exhibition and sale of traditional and contemporary fine art. The exhibition will consist over 100 diverse artworks. Artists are competing for prizes totalling $8,000 with 33 prizes on offer. The exhibition artists hail from Cardinia Shire and surrounding areas.
A new installation prize sponsored by Cardinia Art Society will be announced at the Celebration Reception on the Saturday, 7 June at 4pm. Two artworks will be selected to be placed in a themed installation, which will be displayed in the exhibition.
Each year a special category is used to highlight and draw focus to different aspects of art. The special category for 2025 is ‘Light Within’. These artworks can be 2D or 3D in any medium. They can be a study of light or artwork that contains an actual light source.
The Exhibition includes a great diversity of art in different mediums including Wearable Art, Sculptures and Digital Art.
The art show is welcoming to the public and accessible.
Entry is free, but the organisers are happy to accept a small donation.
