Bitches Brew Says Farewell

We have some sad news for all you Bitches Brew with Len Davis fans out there…

Tomorrow, Saturday 26th August, will be the final regular Bitches Brew on 3MDR.

Len has promised to send through the odd show, so we’ll let you know when they’re going to hit the airwaves, and he’ll definitely drop into SideTracks with John Schmidli from time to time too!

Bitches Brew will continue to be heard on Mixcloud and All About Jazz, so head to these platforms for your Jazz Fusion/Jazz Rock/Progressive Rock/Rock Fusion/ Indian Fusion/World Fusion fix.

Len has a long history in community radio, being one of the founding member of PBS, and wandered into 3MDR a few years ago and liked what he saw.

About to embrace his retirement, he was keen to get Bitches Brew back on the airwaves and we were keen to have him part of 3MDR!  His loyal listeners followed him here and we’ve all enjoyed Bitches Brew and the weird and wonderful music broadcast each week.

Len also volunteered as a member of our Committee of Management, stepping up to be President in 2020, and really drove us to focus on our Radiothons and building them to be bigger and better!

3MDR has just loved Len being part of the family and bringing such a high quality show to our programming grid.
