Are you motivated to make a positive difference in your local community? Then express your interest in Yarra Ranges Council’s free Community Changemakers Program!
The Community Changemakers Program aims to empower Yarra Ranges residents (aged 18+) to develop skills, confidence, and connections to create positive change in their local villages, townships, and suburbs.
Participants will:
Develop interpersonal and communication skills.
Explore community engagement tools.
Develop project planning and pitching techniques.
Skills designed to bring positive community change ideas to life! Prior experience in community leadership or changemaking is not required.
Eligibility Criteria:
Yarra Ranges resident
18 years or over
Available to attend all sessions.
Applications Close: Sunday 14th May 2023
The program will consist of up to 10 sessions, and provide a mix of online (evening) and in-person (weekend) learning opportunities.
