Mad Mile Music Club Shutting Down

After eighteen rollicking months of early mid week mornings, tripping over drum kits in the green room and endless headline guests… Freo has made the difficult decision to shutdown his beloved Mad Mile Music Club.

“After a lot of consideration, I’ve decided it’s time to shut the Mad Mile Music Club. It’s been a privilege to have been a small part of championing new Australian Music over the past year and a half. Being able to speak directly to so many great Australian artists in the dirty old MMMC Virtual Green room, including some I’ve looked up to for decades, has been something I’ve really treasured and will look back on for years to come.

I’ll still be fighting the good fight for Australian music through the not-for-profit organisation I recently started, Local Australian Music Platform, and I will stay involved with 3MDR behind the scenes.

Thanks to the subscribers, listeners, artists, and colleagues who have supported the Mad Mile Music club over the journey.’
